Shaping Educators for Telangana Since 2000

Karshak B.Ed. College is a non-profit institution run by the Teacher Education Society, registered with the AP Societies Registrar in 1999. Recognising the absence of quality teacher-education institutes in the Kamareddy region of erstwhile Nizamabad District, the Society constructed a 20,000 sq.ft. building with all required facilities on a 5–6 acre campus.

Initially affiliated to Osmania University and recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college transitioned to Telangana University, Nizamabad after the formation of Telangana State and continues to be a premier teacher-education institution in the region.

Over 25 years, the college has produced more than 2,500 trained educators — several of whom have received Gold Medals for academic excellence — and remains the foremost teacher-training destination for the Kamareddy belt.
